SPORTS CITY COMPLEX

To more than complement the resort, access to the areas new Sports City Complex is within easy reach. This multidisciplinary centre for sport is now justifiably proud to be the most important facility of its kind within the Valencian community. Featuring three top-grade artificial turf pitches plus four covered seating areas, changing rooms, stores and medical equipment. A spectacular racket sports area, encompassing ten tennis courts, a ‘show court’ tennis centre with seating for 700 spectators and the capability to expand to 1,700 spectators plus changing rooms and toilets, eight paddle tennis courts, multipurpose room (for aerobics, meetings, exhibitions etc). Administration office, cafeteria ,a large gymnasium of 400 square meters and two squash courts.

The showcase of the entire Sports City Complex is a multipurpose field, marked out for Rugby and Football, with a capacity for 3,000 spectators, which has also been inspected and approved for international competition. In addition there is an indoor sports pavilion, Olympic size heated indoor swimming pool, municipal park and a fine athletics track plus 23,000 square meters of parking, 5,000 square meters of green areas and a planned ice rink.

LOCATION

Located in southern Spain’s Orihuela-Costa, the resort is close to large tourist and residential areas as well as the cities of Alicante (40km) and Murcia (20km) providing the region and any visitor with an vast array and level of services.
